Not everyone can afford a private dentist, and this group lists the alternatives: federally qualified community health centers and county health departments that charge on a sliding scale and take Medicaid and CHIP, dental schools where supervised students treat patients at a fraction of private fees, free clinics run by charities and dental societies, mobile and in-home dentists who serve nursing homes and rural areas, and the insurance agencies and discount plans that pay for care. State and local dental associations run referral lines, Give Kids A Smile days and Mission of Mercy weekends where volunteers treat hundreds of patients for free.

Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Buffalo peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Im highly disappointed by the unprofessionalism in my recent visits as I really like this practice and have had great experiences in the past. After not receiving my sti results I messaged the office and asked for an update, none was given and I was told I would need to make another appointment to be tested. I make the appointment and go. I was informed at this visit my vaginal sample from my previous visit was discarded/not tested. The doctor stated it was probably because my chart states male(as I am transgender) and someone ASSUMED it was incorrect for a vaginal sample to be tested. This is ABSURD. As a practice that specifically deals with queer people, I was appalled at the lack of attention to detail of my chart. NEVER at any other doctorβs office I have been to has done this, EVER. I have been transitioned for over a decade and gone to many specialists, different primary care doctors and planned parenthood, AND NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN. I am disappointed in the care i received that day and the lack of attention to detail in both my message AND the physical sample. I am unable to recommend Evergreen for transfolk. They are good for short term solutions but FIND SOMEWHERE EL

EHS has been my medical provider for several years. Overall, the care has been excellent with staff being attentive, accommodating, and respectful. However, I have experienced some ups and downs, especially with turn over in providers at least three times. This has resulted in broken rapport and differing approaches in treatment. My other gripe has been extended wait times even with scheduled appointments. I do appreciate the integration with The Pharmacy at Evergreen, which delivers medications to your home. EHS is a good choice for persons looking for a new provider that takes a person-centered approach and specializes in medical care for the LGBTQ+ community.

The offices are clean with disability and impairment accommodations and amenities for their patients, and they offer great free services for people in need, but their doctors and employees are very unprofessional. Their security guards casually talk about one-night stands and other inappropriate gossip in public and the doctors like to play mind games and toying with people's wellbeing. My therapist refused to add a medical note to my recent IQ test to document that I was sleep deprived during the testing and he mocked my results by belittling and patronizing me. My psychiatrist who prescribes my medications constantly does power plays to assert her dominance; she refuses to answer my social worker's messages and inquiries about prescriptions to force me to wait months for each appointment just to receive a response which is hindering my mental health recovery process: this is done as a display of power. I already cycled through doctors around 5 times or more due to negligence and malpractice between this facility and Best Self Behavioral.

They are very helpful however they are not always well-coordinated and are under-funded. They are still the best community healthcare service in WNY and the only one that is truly LGBT+ supportive. They provide much more than just healthcare with having a wellness program that includes activities like cooking classes and art therapy, a food pantry, and a pharmacy that is nonprofit and does not overcharge or screw customers over the way for-profit pharmacies often do.

I felt the need to write this review.. being a female and in my 40's.. my friend recommended Evergreen because of the staff. He was right! They made me feel so welcome and seen. So understanding and they listen. I signed on with my primary today, and always nervous if I will feel comfortable talking with someone new. Linda B. made me feel so comfortable and so welcoming. She came in with the biggest kind warmest smile and she is so easy to talk to. I'm so happy with the move I've made. :). The energy and the feel of a place is huge for me, but the fact that you can get everything done there! They take your blood right then and there so you don't have to schedule at quest. They have every dr you need, including vision and dental!
